carrots and cut them into small pieces. Each bundle should be about the width of a piece of bacon.
2. Bacon Wrap: Take a piece of bacon and spread it over the dough. Place the Enoch string on one
side of the piece of bacon and begin rolling, making sure the bacon is tightly wrapped around the
mushrooms. The bacon should completely cover the mushrooms. Repeat this process until all
mushrooms and bacon are used.

3. Seasoning: Lightly season the bacon-wrapped Enochi packet with fresh black pepper. You may not
need the extra salt because bacon adds a lot of salt.
4. Enoch Enoch wrapped preparation:
• Baking: Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the bacon-wrapped Enoki strips side by side on a
baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until bacon is crisp and brown. Cook
for a few more minutes if desired.
• Frying: Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add the wrapped Enochi strips and cook,
turning occasionally, until the bacon is browned, 10-12 minutes. Since bacon produces its own fat,
you may not need to add oil.

5. Preparation: After cooking, place the wrapped Enoch on a plate. Add teriyaki sauce, if desired, and
sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped onion for extra flavor and texture.
Tips:
• Choose lean bacon: Thinly sliced bacon works best for this recipe because it packs and breaks easily
without overcooking the mushrooms.
• Adjust cooking time: watch the bacon cook; Small pieces cook quickly and you want to find a
balance between crispy bacon and sweet Enoch.
• Serving tip: Stuffed Enoch mushrooms can be served alone or as part of a larger meal. It goes very
well with rice, stir-fry or barbecue sauce.
This dish is a great example of how a few simple ingredients can come together to create something
delicious and healthy. Bacon Enoch’s Wrapped Mushrooms are sure to be a hit with their varied
textures and combination of smoky flavors, aromas, and slight earthiness.
