CHOCOLATE-PECAN-TURTLE-CLUSTERS
Have you ever tasted something so delicious that you could hardly stand it… and something that
surprised you more than it surprised me? This is one of those recipes.When you make these
combinations of chocolate, nuts and tortoiseshell you will feel like you have died and gone to heaven.
These chocolate turtles are easy to prepare and easy to cook. They make great desserts and party

favors. You can quickly melt caramel and chocolate using the microwave. I love putting them in my
holiday candy trays along with peanut brittle and peanut clusters (crockpot or microwave).Simple and
easy! My family loves this recipe so much that I would make it every day if they had their way! Try it,
you will love it! To prepare this recipe you will need the following ingredients:

°48 pecan halves (use more if the fractions are small) °28 individually wrapped caramels
°1 tablespoon cream
°1 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips (I used Ghirardelli chips)
°1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional). )

Cover a sheet of parchment paper with parchment paper.

Arrange the nuts in twelve X shapes with the four legs sticking out.
Peel the caramel and place it in a microwave-safe container. Do not use a container that is too small.
You should be able to move it easily.Add the cream and microwave at 50% power for 30 seconds if
the heat does not melt for 15 seconds at 50% power. Stir occasionally. Stir and place a heaping
tablespoon in the center of each nut portion. Let cool for at least 10 minutes.

Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave at 50% power for 1 minute.Stir so the bowl
doesn’t get too hot. Continue heating at 50% power in 15 to 30 second intervals until completely
melted. Stir occasionally so the pan doesn’t get too hot.
Pour the chocolate over the caramel; Spread with the back of a spoon and allow to float. Allow it to
harden completely for several hours.To speed up the process, you can keep the turtle in the
refrigerator.
