Spinach and Cream Cheese Puffs are a delicious and elegant appetizer that is perfect for any

gathering, from casual gatherings to more formal parties. They combine the creaminess of cream

cheese with the earthy flavor of spinach, all wrapped in a buttery puff pastry. How to make them:




• 1 pack (approx. 400 g or 14 oz) puff pastry, thawed

• 1 tablespoon olive oil

• 1 small onion, finely chopped

• 2 cloves of garlic, minced


• 1 pack (10 oz or approx. 280 g) . ) frozen spinach, thawed and drained well

• 1 package (8 oz or about 225 g) cream cheese, softened

• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

• Salt and pepper to taste

1. Preheat the oven and prepare the baking sheets:

or circles as desired.

6. Assemble the spinach puff pastry:

o Place a tablespoon of the spinach and cream cheese mixture in the center of each piece of puff

pastry. Fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle, or bring the edges together to make a round

puff pastry.Press the edges with a fork to seal. Make a small slit in the top of each puff pastry to allow

steam to escape while baking.

7. Apply Egg Wash:

o Brush the top of each puff pastry with the beaten egg. This gives them a shiny, golden finish.8. Bake:

° Place the spinach puff pastries on the prepared baking sheets. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20

minutes or until the dough is golden brown and puffed.

9. Serving:

o Allow the spinach puffs to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.They can be enjoyed hot or at

room temperature.


• Drain the spinach well: Make sure to squeeze out as much liquid as possible from the thawed

spinach. Excess moisture can make the dough soggy.

• Make Ahead: You can prepare the spinach and cream cheese filling in advance and store in the
