• 450g minced meat

• 1 onion, chopped


• 3 cloves garlic

• 1 tin of your favorite marinara sauce

• 1 200g grated mozzarella cheese

• 1/2 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese

1. Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until brown. Add the fried onion and minced

garlic and cook until the onion softens, about 3-4 minutes. Drain off excess oil.

2. Add marinara sauce, chopped tomatoes, dried basil, dried thyme, salt and pepper and mix. Simmer

the sauce for 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

3. In a separate bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1 cup grated mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.


4. A simple spoonful of meat sauce into the bottom of your slow cooker.

10. Once the lasagna is cooked, turn off the slow cooker and let the lasagna sit for 10-15 minutes

before serving.

11. If desired, garnish with fresh basil or oil, slice and serve.
