 Easiest No-Knead Bread – No Eggs, No Butter, Super Soft!

Stop buying bread from the store! This no-knead, no-egg, no-butter bread is unbelievably soft, light, and perfect for sandwiches or toasts. It only needs a few pantry staples and less than 10 minutes of actual effort!

Ingredients

  • 200 ml water (~0.85 cup)

  • 25g sugar (~2 tbsp)

  • 3g yeast (~1 tsp)

  • 300g bread flour or wheat flour (~2 cups)

  • 3g salt (~½ tsp)

  • 20g olive oil (~2 tbsp)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.

  2. Add flour and salt. Mix with a spoon or spatula until dough forms — no kneading needed!

  3. Add olive oil and fold it in using your hands or spatula until just combined.

  4. Cover and let the dough rest for 1 hour in a warm place (until doubled).

  5. Lightly grease a loaf pan and pour the dough in. Shape using oiled hands if needed.

  6. Let rise again for 30–40 minutes until fluffy and puffed.

  7. Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F).

  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden on top and hollow-sounding when tapped.
