Elvis Presley Cake (Jailhouse Rock Cake)


White Cake Mix

250 ml tin Crushed Pineapple (with juice)

1 cup Pure Sugar

½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract (for pineapple mixture)

250 ml pack Cream Cheese, softened


½ cup softened Butter 3 water cup Powdered Sugar Tsp Vanilla extract (cold)

3 cups ground walnuts



Baking bread: Prepare and bake white bread according to package instructions. After baking, let the

cake cool and poke all the holes with a wooden spoon.


Pineapple mixture: In a saucepan, combine crushed pineapple (and juice), 1 cup granulated sugar, and

½ teaspoon vanilla

. Boil for a few minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour the hot pineapple mixture over the cooled cake,

making sure it fits into the holes

Cream Cheese Frosting: In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese and butter until smooth.


Gradually add

powdered sugar, remaining vanilla extract, and 2 cups ground pecans and mix until well combined.

Spread this glaze over the pineapple filling .



Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of crushed walnuts on the cake.


Refrigeration: For best flavor, refrigerate cake overnight or at least 6 hours before serving. This
