Homemade Banana Split Cake Pudding Poke Cake
OMG… I made this recipe and prepared it for family Easter dinner. Holy cats, it’s good! My family devoured an 8
1/2 x 11 sheet!
INGREDIENTS
Cake
• 1 box yellow cake mix

• 3 eggs
• 1 cup water
• 1/3 cup vegetable oil + 2 tablespoons oil to cover the mold
Pudding
• 1 large package or 2 small packages vanilla or banana cream -Pudding (I used the cooked one, but you can also

try the instant pudding)
• 3 cups milk (according to package instructions)
Topping
• 1 can of crushed pineapple (undrained)
• 2 sliced bananas (ripe if possible) . )

• Maraschino cherries
• Chopped walnuts
• Chocolate chips
• Redi shake/milk dressing
INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare the yellow cake by mixing three eggs, water and oil and gently stirring into the loaf cake mixture. Spread

oil on the pan to prevent the cake from sticking.I think this works better than the spray, but you can use it too.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 23 minutes until desired golden brown color. Let cool for at least an hour.
Prepare boiled or instant pudding. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.Mix the pineapple and bananas
into the pudding. Poke holes in the cake with a straw. Spread the pudding mixture over the cooled cake.
Top with pecans, chocolate chips and cherries. Relax for at least an hour if you can!Serve with milk smoothies.
