1/2 cup small pearl tapioca
2 cups whole milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup granulated sugar

Soak tapioca: In a medium saucepan, combine the tapioca pearls with 1 cup whole milk. Let them soak for about

Mix ingredients: Add the remaining 1 cup milk, salt and sugar to the pot. Mix well to make sure everything is
evenly distributed.Cooking: Place the pot over medium heat and allow the mixture to simmer. Stir frequently to
prevent sticking. Once simmering, reduce heat to low and continue stirring constantly for 10 to 15 minutes, or
until the tapioca pearls become translucent and the mixture thickens.
Temper eggs: Remove the pot from the heat. Take a small amount of the hot tapioca mixture and gradually add it
to the beaten eggs to temper them and prevent them from mixing when you return to the pot.
Thicken the pudding: Return the tempered egg mixture to the pot, now over medium-low heat.Cook, stirring
constantly, for another 2-3 minutes or until the pudding reaches a thick consistency.

Add flavor: Remove the pot from the heat again and add the vanilla extract to give the pudding its rich flavor.
Cool and Chill: Pour the pudding into individual bowls or one large bowl. Let it cool at room temperature for a
