LOW CARB BACON CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE

 

This low-carb cheeseburger casserole is a family and reader favorite. I have heard nothing but good reviews from

everyone who has tried this simple recipe. I think you will love it too!

INGREDIENTS

▢1/2 pound bacon

▢1 pound ground beef

▢1/2 onion, diced

▢1 garlic clove, minced

▢4 tablespoons cream cheese

▢2 tablespoons ketchup with no added sugar

▢ 1 tablespoon yellow mustard

▢1 teaspoon seasoned salt

▢4 large eggs

▢1/4 cup heavy cream

▢1 teaspoon hot sauce

▢8 ounces grated cheddar cheese

▢ 1 teaspoon fresh dill

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut the bacon into small pieces and place in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until

crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and set it aside on a paper towel-lined plate. Drain the fat from the pan.

Add the minced meat, onion and garlic to the pan and fry until browned, crumbling as you go.Once the meat is

browned and cooked through, pour off the fat.

Add the cream cheese, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and seasoned salt to the pan and cook over low

heat, stirring constantly, until well combined.

Spread the meat mixture into a greased 8×8 baking dish. Top with the cooked bacon.

Crack the eggs into a medium bowl and whisk them with the cream, hot sauce and pepper.Pour egg mixture over

meat and bacon.

Top with the cheddar cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until set and golden brown on top. Allow to cool for 15 minutes before

sprinkling with dill and serving.
