No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Bars
These oatmeal bars were like a delicious granola bar and more chocolatey which meant they were loved by everyone. Layers of oatmeal and chocolate, topped with a drizzle of even more chocolate,
made up this delicious treat. The best part? NO OVEN involved!!Not only are they perfect for summer, but they’re great all year round and can give you the feeling of delicious baked chocolate and
oatmeal without having to bake it!

1 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups quick-cooking oats
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

How to Make No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Bars
A 9×9-in -Grease the pan.
Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar and vanilla. Add the oatmeal.Simmer 2 to 3 minutes or until ingredients are well blended. Press half of the mixture into the

bottom of the prepared pan. Reserve the other half to cover.
Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter in a small, heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently, until smooth. Pour the chocolate mixture over the bottom of the mold,
spreading it evenly with a knife or the back of a spoon.Sprinkle the rest of the oat mixture over the chocolate layer and press down lightly. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours or overnight. Let it
come to room temperature before cutting into bars.
