Parmesan Meatloaf

Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk

2 eggs

1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup marinara sauce (plus extra for topping)
1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare Meatloaf Mixture:

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, chopped onion,
minced garlic, marinara sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Form Meatloaf:
Place the meat mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
Top with Marinara Sauce:
Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the meatloaf is cooked through and reaches an

internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
Add Cheese:
Remove the meatloaf from the oven.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
Return the meatloaf to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted
and bubbly.
Garnish and Serve:
Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with extra marinara sauce on the side.
