Parmesan Meatloaf


“This meatloaf is easy to make, even for beginners. It tastes like a giant meatball and is really tasty. My whole family, including my picky eating kids, loved it the first time I made it and have asked

for it many times since. “I usually make mashed potatoes, a vegetable, and warm rolls on the side.”



or 1 pound ground beef


or 2 large eggs

or 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

or 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

or 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano


or 1 to 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

or 1 small yellow onion (grated)

or 1/2 teaspoon salt

or 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

or 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


or 1/2 cup pasta sauce (marinara sauce). , homemade, without meat)

or 1/2 cup grated cheese (Italian cheese blend)

How to make meatloaf with parmesan


1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a loaf pan (I use a glass loaf pan) with cooking spray and set aside.


2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, thyme, oregano, basil, garlic, onion, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese. Try not to overprocess the mixture or it will become tough.3.

Pour the mixture into the greased loaf tin and shape into a loaf. Cover meatloaf with pasta sauce.

4. Place the filled loaf pan on a baking tray and bake for 1 hour.5. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and allow the fat to drip off the meat.

6. Sprinkle the top with the remaining grated cheese.

7.Put the meatloaf back in the oven and bake until the cheese is melted.

8. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
