Pork chops

Pork chops

Turn raw bacon strips into an addictive like ‘crack’ treat with just 4 ingredients

Put this recipe on paper.

The following recipe calls for four basic ingredients (puff pastry, bacon, maple syrup, and brown

sugar) to create a sweet and savory flatbread that you won’t be able to resist.

To ensure even cooking, pierce the buttery puff pastry well before filling it with crispy bacon and

sweet maple. This flatbread makes a great game day snack or appetizer and tastes delicious both hot

and cold.

To add some flavor to this mix, crumbled blue cheese or goat cheese are a great alternative!

Crispy Maple Bacon

Stovetop Stuff

Bacon, one pound

1 piece of puff pastry

Quarter cup dark syrup

Brown sugar mixture, half cup

To follow :

Turn oven to high heat (375 degrees). Place the bacon on a rack and place on a foil-

covered baking sheet. Grill the bacon for 20 minutes or until crispy.

Set the bacon aside to cool after removing it from the oven.

3.Make sure the puff pastry doesn’t rise too much when baking by spreading it out and scoring all

over it with a fork. Pour half of the maple syrup over the top and sprinkle with half of the brown sugar.

4. Crumble the bacon into small pieces and top with the crumbled bacon. Pour the remaining maple

syrup over the top and sprinkle with the remaining brown sugar.

Cook for 20 to 25 minutes, or until top is golden brown. After removing it from the oven, let it cool

slightly before using a pizza cutter to cut it into bite-sized triangles.
