The Rachel Sandwich is a luscious turkey, Swiss, and coleslaw sandwich slathered with hand crafted

thousand island dressing and barbecued to

Thousand Island Dressing

• ½ glass mayonnaise


• 2 tablespoons ground onion

• 2 tablespoons ketchup

• 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish

• 1 squeeze paprika

• 1 squeeze salt


Rachel Sandwich

• 8 cuts rye bread

• 8 cuts swiss cheese

• 1 glass rich coleslaw

• 1 lb. cut turkey or more depending on appetite


• 3 tablespoons unsalted butter



• Mix the mayonnaise, ground onion, ketchup, sweet pickle savor, paprika and salt together.

• Place a piece of Swiss cheese on each cut of bread. Separate the coleslaw equitably whereas

spooning on best of the cheese on half of the cuts. Layer the turkey on the other half of the cuts.

Isolate the thousand island dressing equitably whereas spreading over the turkey. Sandwich the cuts

together by combing one turkey cut with one coleslaw slice.

• Spread the butter over the best of each sandwich. Put the sandwich butter side down in a hot skillet

over medium moo warm. Presently spread butter over the side confronting up. Cover the skillet freely


with aluminum thwart. Cook until the foot is brilliant brown at that point flip. Cover and cook until the

other side is brilliant brown. Cook until the sandwich is warmed through and the cheese is melted.
