In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
Add the shrimp and sauté until they are pink and just cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.
Add the white wine or chicken broth, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes if using. Bring to a simmer and let the liquid reduce by half, about 3-4 minutes.

Combine Shrimp and Pasta:
Return the shrimp to the skillet along with the drained pasta and chopped parsley. Toss everything together to coat the pasta and shrimp in the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add some of the reserved pasta water to loosen it.
Serve:
Transfer the shrimp scampi to a serving dish or serve directly from the skillet.
Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and additional parsley if desired.
Enjoy:
Serve immediately while hot. This dish pairs wonderfully with a crisp white wine and a side of garlic bread.
This Shrimp Scampi with pasta is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a special occasion, offering a rich and satisfying taste that seafood lovers will certainly enjoy.
