cuts of steak with crispy, golden potatoes in a rich garlic butter sauce. It’s a one-pan wonder that’s

perfect for a hearty dinner. Follow these steps to prepare a meal that will delight your taste buds.

• 1.5 pounds sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes

• 1.5 pounds small potatoes, halved (or quartered if large)

• Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

• 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided

• 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

• 5 cloves garlic, minced

• 1 tsp fresh Thyme, chopped

• 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped

• 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped

• Optional: red pepper flakes, for additional spice

Step 1: Prepare potatoes

1. Cook potatoes: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook potatoes until tender, about 8 to 10

minutes. Drain well.

Step 2: Prepare the steak

1. Season the steak: Season the steak cubes generously with salt and pepper.2. Sear the steak: Heat 1

tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak in a single layer, in

batches if necessary, and sear over medium heat until browned on all sides and cooked to desired

doneness, about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove steak from pan and set aside.

Step 3: Cook potatoes

1.Sauté potatoes: In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter. Once the

butter has melted, add the boiled potatoes. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are golden

brown and crispy, about 4 to 5 minutes.

2. Add garlic and herbs: Add the chopped garlic, thyme and rosemary to the potatoes.Cook another 2

minutes until fragrant.

Step 4: Mix steak and potatoes

1. Return steak: Add the cooked steak to the pan with the potatoes. Stir to combine.

2.Add garlic butter: Add remaining 2 tablespoons butter to pan. Let it melt and pour the garlic butter

sauce over the steak and potatoes. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through

and coated in the garlic butter sauce.

3. Garnish: For additional flavor, sprinkle with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes (if using).

Step 5:

1. Serve hot: Serve the garlic butter steak and potatoes immediately straight from the pan. Enjoy the

fusion of flavors and textures in this comforting dish.

• Steak Selection: Sirloin is recommended for its flavor and tenderness, but you can also use ribeye

steak or tenderloin for a more luxurious dish.

• Potato size: Make sure the potatoes are cut into evenly sized pieces to ensure even cooking.Smaller

pieces cook faster and are crispier.

• Doneness: To achieve the best texture, avoid overcooking the steak. Medium-rare is ideal because

the steak will still cook slightly when added back to the pan with the hot potatoes.

This Garlic Butter Steak and Potato Skillet is a versatile dish that can be customized to your taste

preferences. Serve it on its own as a complete meal or pair it with a simple green salad for extra

freshness.Enjoy the rich flavors and simple elegance of this one-pot meal.
