• 1 large head of cabbage: You will carefully remove the leaves to use as a casing for the filling.

Instructions:
1. Prepare cabbage leaves: Bring a large pot of water to the boil. Core the cabbage and carefully add
it to the boiling water. After a few minutes, the outer leaves will begin to soften. Carefully remove the
soft leaves with tongs and set aside to cool.Continue until you have enough sheets for your muffins.
2. Prepare the filling: In a bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, cooked rice, onions, garlic,
egg, paprika, salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
3.Stuffing the cabbage leaves: Take a cabbage leaf, put some of the stuffing on it, fold it to the side
and roll it up so that the stuffing is completely covered. Repeat with remaining leaves and filling.

4. Make the sauce: In a large pot, fry the chopped onion and garlic until soft. Add crushed tomatoes,
tomato paste, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper.Bring to the boil and adjust the consistency with water
or broth as needed.
5. Cook cabbage rolls: Place the cabbage rolls, seam side down, in the sauce. Cover and simmer until
the rolls are tender and the meat is cooked through, about 1 to 1.5 hours.6. Serve: Carefully remove
the cabbage rolls from the sauce and serve hot, with more sauce on top.
