When these came out of the oven, my hubby couldn’t help but eat 6 all his own!.


2 large onions, cut into 1/4 inch slices

1 cup almond flour

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for spiciness)


Salt and pepper to taste

2 large beaten eggs

2 cups grated mozzarella or cheddar cheese


Preheat Preheat the oven to 200 ° C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

Separate the onion slices into slices.


Mix almond flour, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper in a shallow bowl.

Crack the eggs into another plate.

Dip the onion slices in egg and then brush with the almond flour mixture.Place them on a baking sheet, spaced apart.

Top each slice generously with grated cheese.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.


Let it cool before removing it from the baking tray.
