Mozzarella-Stuffed Onion Rings with Garlic Butter
Perfectly crispy, golden, cheesy, and garlicky – these indulgent bites are guaranteed to steal the show at any gathering!
Ingredients:
2 large white onions
1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded or cut into sticks)
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs (beaten)

1 cup breadcrumbs
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic (minced)
¼ cup butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Onion Rings
Slice the onions into thick rings and separate them.
Pair similar-sized rings to create space between them and fill that gap with mozzarella slices or shreds.
2. Freeze the Rings
Place the stuffed rings on a tray and freeze for 30–60 minutes. This step helps the cheese stay intact while frying.

3. Bread the Rings
Set up a dredging station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of breadcrumbs + Parmesan.
Dip each ring in flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mixture. Make sure it’s fully coated.
4. Fry to Perfection
Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pan.
Fry rings in batches for 2–3 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Drain on paper towels.

5. Make the Garlic Butter
In a small saucepan, melt the butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Drizzle this garlicky butter over the hot onion rings.
