Ingredients:

1 whole turkey (12-24 pounds), completely thawed

1 ovenproof plastic bag

2/3 cup softened butter

Season with salt and pepper

2 tablespoons a mixture of dried herbs such as thyme and rosemary and sage

4 garlic cloves , chopped

1 white onion, coarsely chopped

3 stalks celery, chopped

2 carrots, coarsely chopped

1 tablespoon flour

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F and adjust the rack just below center.

Mix butter with garlic, salt and pepper.
