Super Creamy Apple Pie Cake (More Apples Than Dough!)
This moist, tender apple cake is packed with more apples than batter—perfectly sweet, creamy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Quick to make and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients

2 eggs

A pinch of salt

½ cup sugar (100 g)

1 tsp vanilla sugar

⅓ cup milk (100 ml)

1 ½ tbsp melted butter (20 g)

Zest of 1 lemon

⅔ cup wheat flour (80 g)

1 tsp baking powder

4 to 5 medium apples, peeled and thinly sliced

Juice of ½ lemon

Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions

Prep the Apples
Peel and thinly slice the apples. Drizzle with the juice of ½ lemon to prevent browning and set aside. -
Make the Batter
In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs with a pinch of salt, sugar, and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add the milk, melted butter, and lemon zest. Mix well.ADVERTISEMENT

Add Dry Ingredients
Sift in the flour and baking powder. Mix gently until smooth and lump-free. -
Combine with Apples
Fold the sliced apples into the batter until evenly coated. -
Bake
Pour the mixture into a greased and floured 8-inch (20 cm) round baking pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35–40 minutes or until golden and set in the center. -
Serve
Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before slicing and serving.
