Air Fryer Poached Eggs

Foolproof poached eggs made in the air fryer. Silky whites and perfectly runny or firm yolks, ready in minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large eggs
  • Oil spray ghee butter preferred
  • 6 tablespoons hot water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toast optional

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Silicone muffin cups or egg poaching tray
  • Measuring spoons
  • Tongs or spatula

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 300°F (150°C). Grease silicone cups.
  2. Crack one egg into each cup and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add 3 tbsp hot water over each egg.
  4. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, adjusting for desired doneness.
  5. Remove carefully and serve immediately.

Notes

Cook 6 minutes for runny yolks, 8 minutes for firmer.
Add herbs or spices for flavor.
Best eaten fresh, but can be stored briefly in cold water.
