Chocolate Walnut Fudge

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts lightly toasted for extra flavor
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter, stirring constantly until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Fold in walnuts until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  7. Lift out of the pan and cut into squares. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Swap walnuts with pecans, almonds, or hazelnuts.
Add instant coffee granules for a mocha twist.
Sprinkle crushed peppermint candy for a holiday touch.
