Ingredients
  

  • For the Meatloaf:
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup onion chopped
  • ½ cup green bell pepper chopped
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • For the Glaze:
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease loaf pan.
  2. Mix beef, breadcrumbs, onion, pepper, eggs, milk, Worcestershire, and seasonings until combined.
  3. Transfer to pan and shape loaf.
  4. Mix glaze ingredients and spread on top.
  5. Bake 1 hour, until 160°F internally. Rest 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Use crackers or oats instead of breadcrumbs.
Add carrots or celery for extra veggies.
Best enjoyed fresh but leftovers reheat beautifully.
