- Preheat oven to 350ยบ F and grease a square baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
- Pour the lemon pie filling into the baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle half of the yellow cake mix over the pie filling.
- Distribute cubed cream cheese over the cake mix.
- Sprinkle the remaining cake mix over the cream cheese.
- Add butter slices evenly on top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can use full-fat cream cheese. Add lemon zest for extra citrus kick. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for added indulgence.
