Ingredients
  

  • - 1 16 oz. can Lemon Pie Filling
  • - 1 15 oz. package Yellow Cake Mix
  • - 4 oz. Cream Cheese cubed
  • - 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter 1 stick, thinly sliced

Equipment

  • - Knife for cubing cream cheese
  • - Spoon for layering

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยบ F and grease a square baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Pour the lemon pie filling into the baking dish and spread evenly.
  3. Sprinkle half of the yellow cake mix over the pie filling.
  4. Distribute cubed cream cheese over the cake mix.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cake mix over the cream cheese.
  6. Add butter slices evenly on top.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can use full-fat cream cheese. Add lemon zest for extra citrus kick. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for added indulgence.
