Ingredients
  

  • Cake
  • - 1 box Devil’s Food Cake Mix
  • - 1 box 3.9 oz Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix
  • - 5 eggs
  • - 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • - ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • - 1 cup sour cream or buttermilk
  • - ¾ cup brewed coffee
  • - 2 cups Nestlé Toll House chocolate chips
  • ### Ganache
  • - ½ cup unsalted butter
  • - ½ cup cocoa powder
  • - 3 cups powdered sugar
  • - ½ cup milk
  • - 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • - ½ cup walnuts optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare pan.
  2. Mix cake mix and pudding.
  3. Whisk eggs, vanilla, oil, sour cream, and coffee.
  4. Combine wet and dry, fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Bake 45–50 minutes, cool completely.
  6. Make ganache by melting butter, adding cocoa, sugar, milk, vanilla.
  7. Pour ganache over cake, garnish with chips.

- Store covered at room temperature up to 3 days.
- Freeze slices for longer storage.
- Try dark chocolate chips for extra richness.
