- Add heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan, garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg to the slow cooker. Stir well.
- Add butter and chicken (if using).
- Break pasta in half and press into the sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Stir well when pasta is tender and sauce is creamy.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Swap chicken for shrimp or veggies to change up the flavor.
Leftovers should be reheated with a splash of milk or broth.
