Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound fettuccine pasta broken in half
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup cooked chicken diced (optional)
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Add heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan, garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg to the slow cooker. Stir well.
  2. Add butter and chicken (if using).
  3. Break pasta in half and press into the sauce.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir well when pasta is tender and sauce is creamy.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Swap chicken for shrimp or veggies to change up the flavor.
Leftovers should be reheated with a splash of milk or broth.
