Oven to 350° Preheat F. Butter the bottom of a 9-by-13-inch pan or plate.

Combine cake mix (minus reserved cup), 1 egg, and 1 stick butter. mix well. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.In a bowl, combine pumpkin, 3 eggs, cinnamon, ginger,


cloves, brown sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar and milk. Mix well and then pour an even layer over the cake mix layer.

Mix reserved cupcake mix, 1/2 stick butter, 1/2 cup white sugar, and 1 cup walnuts. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the pumpkin mixture.

Bake for about 1 hour and check with a toothpick to see if it is done.If the toothpick doesn’t come out clean, place the cake in the oven for another 10 to 15 minutes.
