Spinach and Cream Cheese Puffs are a delicious and elegant appetizer that is perfect for any

Ingredients:

 

• 1 pack (approx. 400 g or 14 oz) puff pastry, thawed

• 1 tablespoon olive oil

• 1 small onion, finely chopped

• 2 cloves of garlic, minced

• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

• Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

 

1. Preheat the oven and prepare the baking sheets:

o Place a tablespoon of the spinach and cream cheese mixture in the center of each piece of puff

pastry. Fold the dough over the filling to form a triangle, or bring the edges together to make a round

7. Apply Egg Wash:

o Brush the top of each puff pastry with the beaten egg. This gives them a shiny, golden finish.8. Bake:

minutes or until the dough is golden brown and puffed.

9. Serving:

o Allow the spinach puffs to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.They can be enjoyed hot or at

room temperature.

Tips:

• Drain the spinach well: Make sure to squeeze out as much liquid as possible from the thawed

spinach. Excess moisture can make the dough soggy.

• Make Ahead: You can prepare the spinach and cream cheese filling in advance and store in the

refrigerator until ready to use. Composite puff pastries can also be frozen before baking. To freeze,
