Just about everyone loves pecan caramel birthday treats. The taste of salty roasted peanuts and caramelized

caramel can hook you like crack. Sometimes your cravings for this little goodness appear in strange places or at

strange times (such as the middle of the night), and you are often powerless if you cannot satisfy this

craving.Well, not anymore!

Ingredients

Homemade Payday Chocolate Bar requires only a few ingredients

1.3 cups salted peanuts

2.2 cups peanut butter chips

3.2 cups mini marshmallows

4.1 cans sweetened condensed milk

5.3 tablespoons unsalted butter

6.½ teaspoons vanilla extract

How to make homemade Payday candy bars

Step 1: Place the butter and peanut butter pieces in a large saucepan and melt Cook over medium heat until

smooth.

Step 2: Add evaporated milk, vanilla extract, and marshmallows to the peanut butter and melted butter

mixture.Stir until mixture is smooth and fully incorporated.

Step 3: Grease a 9 x 13 inch rectangular baking dish with butter or nonstick spray. Spread half of the peanuts on

the baking dish.

Step 4: Pour the mixture from step 2 evenly over the peanuts and then sprinkle the remaining peanuts on top.

Step 5: Refrigerate or let sit at room temperature until solid. Cut the candies into portion bars and enjoy.
