Homemade New York Strawberries


° cups graham crackers

° 3 packages softened cream cheese

° 6 tablespoons melted unsalted butter

° 1 teaspoon vanilla

° 1 cup granulated sugar


° 3 large eggs

° 1 cup strawberries, freshly crushed

° Half a cup granulated sugar

°2 tablespoons cornstarch

°1 tablespoon lemon juice


°2 tablespoons water

Homemade New York Strawberries


Preheat oven to 165°C (325°F).

To prepare the dough, take a bowl and mix the melted butter and graham cracker crumbs well.

Next, fill the bottom of a 9-inch pan with the mixture and compact it well and evenly.

Then pour the mixture onto the cake base and bake for about 35-40 minutes.

After removing the cake from the oven, let it cool to room temperature.To make the strawberry glaze,

combine pureed strawberries, 1/2 cup sugar, cornstarch, water and lemon juice in a medium saucepan

before baking.


Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it boils and thickens. Allow the mixture to cool.

Once the cheesecake has cooled, pour the prepared icing over it and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or
