Fry the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain off excess oil. Add onion and parsley
and cook for 2-3 minutes. Reduce the heat to low and add the garlic. Cook for 1 minute, stirring
occasionally.
Add vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, barbecue sauce, ketchup, chili powder and
water.
Let it sit for 10-15 minutes and spoon the bread over it.
Item
Use lean ground meat. Fat makes meat taste very sweet and delicious. After cutting the ground meat
and cooking the vegetables, remove excess fat.

Ground beef can be substituted with ground turkey, ground chicken, or ground pork.
Use a good barbecue sauce with less sugar. I love Stubbs BBQ sauce.
If the mixture seems drier than you’d like, add a little water, barbecue sauce or ketchup.
Spoon over brioche buns, hamburger buns, rice or pasta.
Add two cloves of red pepper, 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, or a teaspoon of hot sauce for flavor.
Freeze meat and meat mixture in a freezer bag or container for up to 3 months. Refrigerate overnight
and reheat in the microwave or on low heat on the stove.
