Pudding Cool Whip Frosting

Whipped Vanilla Bliss — Light, Creamy, and Perfect on Any Cake!

This easy-to-make frosting is fluffy, not too sweet, and holds up beautifully on cakes and cupcakes. A no-fail favorite for summer desserts or anytime you want something quick and delicious!

 Ingredients

  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 oz / 96 g)

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

  • 1 cup cold milk

  • 1 tub (8 oz / 225 g) whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed

Directions

  1. Mix the pudding:
    In a large mixing bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding mix, powdered sugar, and cold milk.
    Whisk or beat for about 2 minutes until thickened.

  2. Fold in whipped topping:
    Gently fold in the Cool Whip until well incorporated and smooth. Do not overmix to keep the texture airy.

  3. Chill:
    Let the frosting sit in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before using, allowing it to firm up.

  4. Frost your cake:
    Spread the frosting onto your cooled cake or cupcakes using a spatula or piping bag.
