Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup milk

2 tablespoons lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

Prepare the Batter:

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract, milk, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Mix until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
