2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder

1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
1 cup buttermilk, at room temperature
2 large eggs, at room temperature

2 tablespoons (1 ounce) purple food coloring
1 teaspoon white vinegar, distilled
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions: Oven Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease, flour, and line two 9″ round cake pans with parchment.
Mix dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder in a large one Whisk bowl.Mix wet
