When I was a kid, my grandmother always made cinnamon rolls when I came to visit. We both spent
hours in the kitchen measuring and mixing, our hands gripped with flour and sugar. Some of my
fondest memories are of sitting at the table with warm cinnamon buns in our hands, drinking tea and
talking about life. Since he is no longer with us, I make this recipe in his honor, remembering the
good times we shared.

4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Be careful not to
overdo it; less swelling is better.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
6. To prepare the topping, mix powdered sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
7. Pour the melted butter over the salt in the pan. Sprinkle well with the cinnamon-sugar mixture. You
can make designs with your spatula!
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes
out clean.
9. After baking, remove the cinnamon roll from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Then place on a rack to cool completely.
Cut the cinnamon roll as you wish and serve. It can be grilled or fried.
