Cream Cheese Pound Cake

 

INGREDIENTS:

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 1/2 cups butter, softened

1 teaspoon lemon extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons vanilla

1/4 teaspoon salt

3 cups sugar

6 eggs

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a large bowl, beat butter, cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after

each addition. Whisk the extracts. Mix flour, baking powder and salt; Beat into creamed mixture until combined.

Pour into a greased and floured 25cm pan.fluted tube tray. Bake at 325° for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or until a

toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
