 Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup uncooked white rice

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 1 ½ cups beef broth or water

  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or green onions

 Instructions

 Cook the Beef Mixture

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté ground beef and onion until browned and fully cooked.

  • Drain excess fat. Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for 1 more minute.

 Prepare the Casserole Base

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine:

    • uncooked rice

    • cream of mushroom soup

    • cream of chicken soup

    • beef broth

  • Stir well, then add in the cooked beef mixture.

 Assemble and Bake

  • Pour everything into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.

 Add the Cheese

  • Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top.

  • Return to the oven uncovered and bake for another 10–15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.
