Hand crafted PECAN SANDIES

 

INGREDIENTS

2 sticks butter, unsalted (1/2 lb., softened)

1 glass vegetable oil

1 glass sugar, granulated

1 glass confectioner’s sugar (sifted)

2 eggs (large)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 mugs flour, all reason (500 gr.)

1 teaspoon heating soda

1 teaspoon cream of tartar

1 teaspoon salt

2 glasses pecans (chopped)

1/2 glass sugar, granulated (for decoration)

DIRECTIONS

-Preheat broiler to 325 degrees F.

-In a huge bowl, cream together the butter, vegetable oil, 1 glass white sugar and confectioners’ sugar until smooth.

-Beat within the eggs one at a time, at that point mix within the vanilla.

-Combine the flour, preparing pop, cream of tartar, and salt; blend into the creamed blend. Blend within the pecans.

-Roll mixture into 1 inch balls and roll each ball in remaining white sugar. Put the treats 2 inches separated onto un~greased cookie sheets.

-Bake for 10 to 12 minutes within the preheated stove, or until the edges are brilliant.Evacuate from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
