Southern Fried Chicken Fillet with Sauce
Ingredients:
For the steak:
4 tender cube steaks (about 1/2 inch thick)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk

Vegetable oil, for frying
For the sauce:
2 tablespoons leftover oil for frying
2 tablespoons flour, use for everything
2 cups milk
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the topping: In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked
paprika and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Egg Beat: Whisk eggs and milk together in another shallow bowl.

Coat the fillets: Dip each fillet first in the flour mixture, then in the beaten egg, and again in the flour
mixture to create a double layer of crunch.
Frying: Heat a generous amount of vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Fry the fillets
until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side.Avoid overcrowding. Drain on paper towels.
Prepare the sauce: Leave about 2 tablespoons of frying oil in the pan. Add the flour and cook until it
