Spicy Honey Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions:
- Preparation:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help the wings cook evenly and become crispy.
- Marinating the Wings:
- In a large bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, salt, and onion powder until well combined.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them until they are well coated with the marinade.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Baking the Wings:
- Arrange the marinated wings on the wire rack in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning them halfway through, until the wings are crispy and fully cooked. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Serving:
- Once done, remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the wings hot with your favorite dipping sauce, and enjoy!
