Spicy Honey Chicken Wings

 

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions:

 

  1. Preparation:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. This will help the wings cook evenly and become crispy.
  2. Marinating the Wings:
    • In a large bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, salt, and onion powder until well combined.
    • Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them until they are well coated with the marinade.
    • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
  3. Baking the Wings:
    • Arrange the marinated wings on the wire rack in a single layer.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning them halfway through, until the wings are crispy and fully cooked. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  4. Serving:
    • Once done, remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
    • Serve the wings hot with your favorite dipping sauce, and enjoy!
