Upside-Down Apple Cake

Ingredients
For the Apple Caramel Base:

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup milk (regular or plant-based)

Directions
1. Prepare the Apple Caramel Base:

In a round metal pan or skillet, melt the butter with the sugar over medium heat.

Stir gently until the sugar becomes golden brown and slightly bubbly.

Arrange the apple slices tightly over the caramel in a single layer. Set aside.
2. Make the Cake Batter:

In a bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy and light in color.
