Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings with Soy Sauce
Golden and crispy on the outside, tender inside, and tossed in a savory, sticky garlic-soy glaze—these wings are irresistibly delicious and make the perfect appetizer or dinner treat!
Ingredients:

1 lb chicken wings (cut into pieces)

1 tbsp cornstarch

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

¼ cup vegetable oil

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 tbsp ginger (minced)

2 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tbsp honey

1 tbsp rice vinegar

½ tsp sesame oil
-
Chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
1. Prep the Chicken Wings

Pat wings dry with paper towels.

In a bowl, toss with cornstarch, salt, and pepper to coat evenly.

2. Fry the Wings

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the wings in a single layer and fry for 8–10 minutes per side until crispy and golden.

Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate.
3. Make the Sauce

In another skillet, heat a splash of oil.

Sauté the garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Stir and simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Coat the Wings

Add fried wings into the sauce and toss to coat completely.

Let cook for another 1–2 minutes so sauce becomes sticky and flavorful.
5. Serve

Transfer to a platter, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve hot.
