Air Fryer Bratwurst with Beer Cheese Sauce
Super easy air fried bratwursts taste amazing when topped with this thick beer cheese sauce!
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE BURGEN:
5 raw sausages
5 fried rolls

FOR THE BEER CHEESE SAUCE:
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 cup beer
1/2 cup milk

2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 tablespoons chopped chives
INSTRUCTIONS
FOR BURNS:
Preheat your air fryer to 360 degrees.

Place the sausages in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 15 minutes, turning halfway through, or until the sausages have reached an internal
temperature of 160 degrees.
FOR THE CHEESE SAUCE:
Place the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat and let it melt.

Add the flour and cook for 1 minute.Add beer and milk until sauce thickens, about 3 to 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and add cheddar cheese and peppers.
TO SERVE:
Place sausages on rolls and drizzle with cheese sauce. Sprinkle with chives.
NOTES
Cheese dip made from leftovers is ideal as a dip for French fries, chips and pretzel nuggets! Store in
the refrigerator and reheat over low heat, stirring constantly.
