Apple and vanilla cake
Here is a cake recipe that goes perfectly with apples. A classic that I love
have it redone. These days we have spent a lot of time outdoors with family and friends and

I had the opportunity to prepare it three times! It is delicious with vanilla, cinnamon,
apples inside, outside… In short, you can give free rein to your creative energy. For
this adaptation I therefore used my basic recipe, and I started with a decoration idea which makes the
visit the blog at the moment, especially with the apple puff pastry roses, very cut apples
thinly with a mandolin or a knife placed on top. It has a small effect and it is

delicious.
Ingredients:
2 or 3 apples
250g of flour
125 sugar

150 g of butter
3 eggs
1 pinch of vanilla powder (or 1 vanilla pod)
1 sachet of baking powder
icing sugar for decoration

Apple and vanilla cake
Preparation:
Preheat your oven to 180°C.
Melt the butter in the microwave. In a salad bowl or the bowl of your food processor. Beat the eggs,
sugar and vanilla powder until the mixture becomes white. Add the flour and yeast without
stop stirring. Pour in the melted butter. Mix until you obtain a homogeneous and creamy paste.
Pour the mixture into a buttered cake mold.
Cut the apples in half and cut them very finely using a knife or madoline and
place them very tightly on top of the cake.

Bake for 40 to 45 minutes depending on the power of your oven but do not turn it up beyond
170-180° so as not to brown the apples too much.
Take the cake out of the oven. Unmold it once warm and sprinkle with icing sugar.
You can also prepare it the day before for the next day, place it in a cool place so as not to
damage the apples.
