laughing emoji here because it’s funny but totally true). This delicious Hawaiian chicken is moist, juicy
and perfect with
Grilled Pineapple Spears or an authentic Hawaiian lunch.
Ingredients

or 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
or 1 cup soy sauce
or 1 cup water
or 1 cup sugar.
or 5 garlic cloves, crushed

or 1 ginger root (2-3 thin slices lengthwise)
How to Make Hawaiian-Style Teriyaki Chicken
In a large bowl, whisk together the water and soy sauce and add the sugar to dissolve. Add desired
amount of ginger and garlic, then add chicken.
You can soak the meat in the marinade for up to 3 days, if you are in a hurry you should soak it for at

least 24 hours.
If you can’t wait, cook the chicken in the sauce immediately after cooking.
Grill chicken like you would any other meat over high heat, then place in a pot on the grill.Add some
fresh teriyaki sauce to the pot and the fried chicken will be steamed, making it tender and juicy.
