Chocolate Chip Scones


These chocolate chip scones are one of my favorite snacks. They’re easy to make and always a hit!



▢3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

▢1/2 cup granulated sugar


▢1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon baking powder

▢1/4 teaspoon salt

▢2 cups dark chocolate chips

▢2 cups cold whipping cream

▢2 tablespoons melted butter


▢Extra sugar for sprinkling


Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease two baking sheets.

Mix the first five ingredients. Pour in the cream and stir with a wooden spoon until the flour mixture is


Place the mixture on a lightly floured surface and knead gently until a soft dough forms, about 2


minutes.Do not over mix the dough.

Divide the dough into three equal balls.

Flatten the dough into a 7-inch circle (flatten the dough with your hands) and cut each dough circle

into eight triangles.

Place them on baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Brush the top with melted butter and sprinkle with


sugar.Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until bottom edges are lightly browned. Don’t bake for too long,

otherwise the rolls will dry out.

Serve hot.
