Italian Drunken Pasta


This is a take on classic Italian dishes. In addition to lasagna and spaghetti, there are many different Italian pasta dishes. This drunken Italian pasta is a very popular dish in Italy. A really simple

dish made with pasta, tomatoes, garlic and herbs. It doesn’t require much effort to prepare this dish any night of the week or for any type of event or celebration.



or 12 ounces egg noodles, cooked to your liking


or 1 pound ground Italian sausage

or 2 peppers, minced

or 3 tsp minced garlic

or 1 tsp Italian seasoning

or ½ C white cooking wine


or 28 oz can diced Tomatoes, undrained

o 1 tablespoon dried basil

o Salt and pepper to taste

o Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley for garnish



How to prepare Italian bubbly pasta


1. Place the meat and peppers in a large pot or large Deep-sided skillet over medium-high heat. Heat.Cook until the meat is completely browned and the peppers are softened.

2. Reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Sauté for another 30 seconds.

3.Add the white cooking wine and sauté until the liquid in the pot is reduced by half.

4. Add the diced tomatoes to the pot along with the dried basil and season with salt and pepper. Stir to mix well.


5.Add the cooked pasta and continue to saute until heated through.

6. To decorate, top with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley.
