Pistachio Puppy Food

Pistachio Puppy Food has been one of my favorite snacks since I was a child. I first met him at the

school bake sale and was hooked ever since. I had the classic recipe memorized in high school

because I made it so often (I’m not sure if that should be a point of pride or shame), but it wasn’t until

recently that I started delving into it World of different Puppy variants to dare flavors. Chow.

Ingredients

or 1 box (12 oz) Rice Chex

or 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

or ½ cup melted butter

or 1 cup white chocolate chips or cream cheese

or 1 (3.4 oz) instant pistachio pudding mix

or ½ teaspoon vanilla

or ½ teaspoon salt

or 2 cups powdered sugar

To prepare Pistachio Puppy Food :

1. Pour the cereal into a very large bowl or a clean double brown paper bag and set aside.

2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, add evaporated milk, butter and potato chips. Microwave in 30-

second increments, stirring occasionally, until chips are completely melted.Stir everything until

smooth.

3. Mix in the pudding powder until smooth, then add vanilla and salt.

4. Pour the pudding mixture over the cereal and stir until evenly coated. Then add the powdered

sugar and stir again.5. Allow the treat to cool and then store it in an airtight container. Best consumed

within the first day or two!
