Turkey Meatloaf
The bread on the bottom of this meatloaf is optional, but I think it’s perfect for soaking up any excess
liquid/fat from the turkey as it cooks. I discard the bread before serving, but you make your own.

Place two slices of bread on the bottom of a baking tray. Pour the mixture over the bread and form
into a loaf.
Bake for 30 minutes and remove from the oven to make the sauce. In a small bowl, stir together
ketchup, sugar, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the meatloaf and return to the oven for
30 minutes until the loaf is cooked through.
Let it rest for 5 minutes before cutting and serving. Before serving, remove the bread from the bottom
of each meatloaf slice.
TIPS AND NOTES:
Stovetop Stuffing adds lots of flavor to the meatloaf and keeps it moist. If you replace it with

something else, be sure to adjust the seasoning accordingly and be aware that the meatloaf may not
be as juicy.
The bread isn’t necessary, but it’s an easy way to soak up the liquid that’s released from the meatloaf.
It can be easily removed or simply left on and served; There isn’t a lot of fat in the turkey meatloaf
and the bread is delicious.
This turkey meatloaf should reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees before serving.
