Apple Fritter Bread Recipe:

 

Ingredients:

 

1½ cups all-purpose flour

2 apples, peeled and diced

½ cup butter, room temperature

½ cup milk

⅔ cup granulated sugar

⅓ cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 eggs

1¾ teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

For the glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions:

 

1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease it a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.2. In a bowl, mix the peeled and diced apples with the brown sugar and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Put aside.

3. In another bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, room temperature butter, eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.4. Add flour and baking powder until well mixed.

5. Gradually add ½ cup milk and mix until the dough is smooth.

6.Gently fold the apple mixture into the dough.

7. Pour the dough into the greased loaf pan and distribute it evenly.

8. Bake for about 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.9. While the bread is baking, prepare the glaze by mixing 1 tablespoon milk with ½ cup powdered

sugar until smooth.

10. Once the bread is ready, we take it out of the oven and let it cool in the tin for a few minutes.

11.Drizzle glaze over warm bread.

Let the bread cool a little before cutting and serving.
